The scope of the Electrical System inspection is an examination and analysis of:

- Ground Fault (GFCI) outlets are required by modern residential building code. GFCI outlets protect users from electric shock in kitchens, bathrooms, garages, exterior outlets, and any potentially wet location.

- Arc Fault (AFCI) circuits are required by modern residential building code. AFCI breakers protect bedrooms from fires resulting from arcing electrical current.
Heating &
Cooling Systems
The scope of the Heating, Ventilation, and Cooling Systems inspection is an examination and analysis of the building heating and cooling equipment and distribution. The HVAC systems are inspected for basic safe operation only from a visual standpoint. The inspector is not equipped to disassemble and analyze in detail HVAC interior components. In condominiums and other buildings where elements of the system are located on the roof or elsewhere in the building, the inspection is limited to the components of the system inside the unit only.
